What to Expect during your Hormonal Imbalance Treatment Plan

Initial Consultation with your provider
Collect blood spot or saliva samples at your home then mail them to the lab.
Receive the results of your testing in 7-10 days after mailing the samples and we will notify you of the results.
Discuss your treatment options with our team.
Receive your creams, gel, patches, pills or injections or pellets. (Some of these will require a short office visit.)
Monitor your symptoms, let us know how you are doing!
Expect to repeat the testing in 3 months so that we can keep you on the right track and make adjustments where necessary.

How is hormone therapy done?

What is the frequency or duration of hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?

If using oral or topical (creams or gels) as forms of HRT, you will need to take them daily, or a few times a week. Post-visit instructions and length of your therapy will be provided based on your treatment plan.
If the HRT is performed through injection, it is usually on a weekly basis. Length of your therapy will be provided based on your treatment plan and follow-up visits.
If HRT is given through pellets, then pellets will last about 3-4 months in women and up to 6 months in men.
